11 killed and 22 injured in a bus-truck collision in Bikaner

11 people were killed and around 22 people were injured after a bus collided with a truck on NH-11 in Bikaner, Rajasthan on November 18 around 7.30 in the morning.
As soon as the incident was reported the police officials along with the rescue team rushed to the spot. The people who were injured in this accident were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for necessary treatment.
According to the sources, the bus was on its way from Bikaner towards Jaipur however the truck coming from the opposite direction collided with the bus. Sources further revealed that to separate the overturned vehicles cranes were used.
According to the police officials for and overspeeding are the likely causes of the accident. Due to this accident traffic on this route was affected. It took around two hours for the concerned authorities to normalise the situation.
