40 passengers injured after a bus overturned near Lucknow’s Malihabad

A private bus overturned near Malihabad in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh on November 30 at around 11 am. At least 40 passengers were injured in this mishap. A bus was going to Hadoi from Lucknow. Police teams along with ambulance had reached the spot. Injured shifted to hospital for treatment. Traffic affected for few minutes in the area. Traffic officials reached the spot to manage the traffic.

The speedy uncontrolled private bus overturned in Malihabad and rammed on the electric pole. This mishap took place near Najar Nagar village of Malihabad. According to villagers, a bus driver trying to save the bikers. When two men on a bike came in front of the bus. The driver suddenly applied a break and swerved the vehicle to avoid collision with a motorcycle. Locals rushed to the spot and trying to rescue people from the bus. They immediately informed the local police station. After his accident, Malihabad’s inspector rushed on the spot with the help of a rural police team. They shifted injured to CHC hospital for treatment. Around 10 seriously injured persons referred to the Trauma Center. At least 30 people, including 6 children and 12 women, were injured when a bus carrying them from Hardoi crashed on Saturday morning. Nine persons sustained grievous injuries and are undergoing a KGMU trauma center. The bus driver escaped after this incident. This mishap also took place due to poor visibility, the driver failed to spot motorcycle. A bus totally damaged in this mishap. The fire brigade team removed the bus from the area. Traffic movement normalized after a few minutes.
