5 people were injured in a glass cylinder explosion at Pandithapuram village in Kamepalli Mandal situated in Khammam district. The blast took place on October 6 around 10.30 in the morning, with the property located on the Pandithapuram village.
As soon as the incident took place the fire tenders and police officials were informed. The fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot.
After the explosion, a massive blanket of smoke was seen in the area.
The people who were trapped in the fire were rescued by the fire tenders.
The people who were injured critically in this blast were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital for necessary treatment.
According to the sources, the impact of the explosion was so massive that it created a huge loss inside and outside the structure. The vehicles parked outside the structure were also damaged, sources further revealed.
The police officials who were present on the spot tried to control the locals as the explosion created panic among them. Later on, the situation was brought under control. A huge loss occurred due to this explosion.
