A huge fire broke out in Shanti Industrial State in Mulund West on Feb 3

A huge fire broke out at some industrial shops in Shanti Industrial State in Mulund West, Mumbai on Saturday, Feb 3 around 9.00 pm. The fire broke out at 1st floor of the building then it was spread to the second floor. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Disaster Control Room, there were no reports of injuries. Ten units were totally gutted in the fire. 8 fire tenders, six jumbo tankers and two water tankers were pressed in the area. Police team and ambulance were also reached on spot. Fire teams from Badlapur, Kalyan, Ulhasnagar, Badlapur and Bhiwandi were engaged in the fire operations since 3 am on Feb 4.
