An Under Construction Bridge In Bomikhal Collapses Killing One On Sept 10

A person killed and twelve others injured after an under-construction flyover bridge in busy Bomikhal area of Bhubaneswar collapsed on September 10. This mishap took place at around 12.30 pm on September 10, when the bridge was being roofed. Sources further stated that the roof collapsed due to the weak support.

Team of NDRF, ODRAF and fire tender personnel were rushed to the spot to carry out the rescue operation to remove the people trapped under the debris. Huge disruption had caused in the surrounding following to this mishap. Traffic disruption was also anticipated in the region.
