Boiler blast in Palsana’s Viveklene Industries Ltd; 6 hurt

A massive blast took place at Viveklene Industries Limited in Palsana of Gujarat on June 8 in the early hour. Unfortunately, six workers seriously hurt in this explosion. A boiler pipe burst out at the fabric dyeing factory in the Surat district of the state.

When this mishap happened; other workers immediately called the fire department. As soon as the fire tenders received the fire call they immediately rushed to the spot.  According to sources, workers of the factory were taking rest near the pipe and got injured by hot water when it exploded. Three of them were in serious condition and they admitted to the ICU of Sanjeevani Hospital for further treatment. The exact reason behind the blast is unknown.  The local police team rushed the spot for investigation.

Earlier, a blast took place in a chemical factory in Dahej Industrial Estate of Bharuch district in Gujarat on June 3.  8 employees died and around 50 injured in this big blast. This boiler chemical factory also belonged to Yashashvi Rasayan Private Limited in Surat. There are many chemical factories have situated in the district of Surat. Several factories have opened after lockdown period in the state.
