Delhi bound train collides with a goods train in Gwalior

Delhi-bound Bhopal Express collided with a derailed coach of goods train in Birla Nagar railway station in Gwalior on April 26. The incident took place at around 3.15 am in the morning. As soon as the incident was reported the concerned authorities along with fire tenders reached the spot to control the situation.
Some people suffered minor injuries in the accident and were shifted to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Luckily no casualties were reported in this mishap.
According to the sources, a relief train was rushed to the spot at 7 am to clear the track. After the incident, the railway track connecting Delhi to South India was completely suspended till further notification. Due to this accident train services were disrupted till the repair work was completed.
The railway officials were present on the spot to take stock of the situation. The railway workers conducted the repair work after the incident. The reason behind the mishap is ascertained yet.
