A massive fire broke out at Solapara in Guwahati on February 20. Fire tenders were pressed on the spot as soon as the fire was reported. No injuries were reported in this incident. Fire tenders managed to douse off the flames and evacuate everyone efficiently. The cause of fire is not ascertained yet.
The fire broke near Apsara Cinema Hall in Guwahati in the late evening of February 20. According to reports, fire gutted around seven houses and go downs following a cylinder blast. Locals’ alleged that the cause of the fire gnited due to cylinder blast. Fire department officials have not yet stated the actual cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, state BJP Minister Queen Ojha and Siddhartha Bhattacharya visited the incident spot and took stock of the situation.
