A fire broke out at an artificial pearl bead manufacturing factory in Narayan compound in Bhiwandi, Thane on January 23 around 10.30 in the morning. As soon as the fire was reported the fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot.
Fire tenders along with two water tankers and one ambulance were present on the spot to douse off the flames. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in this fire incident.
The police officials present on the spot controlled the panic situation created due to this blaze.
According to the sources, as soon as the workers present in the company noticed the fire they immediately rushed to a safer zone.
According to the firefighters, the blaze started around 10.30 in the morning as soon as they were informed about it they immediately rushed to the spot with two water tankers and one ambulance. As the water tanker was taking time the blaze started spreading across the unit. As there are several units on the company premises the fire kept spreading from one floor to another. It took around three hours for them to douse off the flames. As soon as the blaze was doused off cooling operation was done.
The reason behind the fire is ascertained yet however the concerned authorities are investigating this incident.
