A massive fire broke out at a lubricant oil godown in New Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh area during the afternoon hours of September 7.
It was a horrendous moments for the people of Punjabi Bagh area of New Delhi when a massive fire broke out at an engine oil warehouse during the afternoon hours of September 7 causing a mass devastation.
According to the reports, as soon as the people of the area saw huge smoke coming out from the warehouse they immediately contacted the fire department giving the information regarding the horrific situation. The area was soon engulfed with billowing smoke causing a tensed situation.
Around twenty two fire tenders rushed to the spot as soon as they received the information regarding the incident. This calamity was reported to the fire department at around 5:00 pm in the afternoon.
The fire tender evacuated all the buildings which were located near the warehouse as soon as they reached the spot. The fire was later bought under control after lot of efforts.
It was reported that one person was killed in this incident as his body was recovered from the first floor of the building after the fire was doused off.
Later, a case was also filed against the company under section 285 of the Indian Penal Code.
