Four people killed after fire broke out in snacks factory in Muzaffarpur

Four people were killed and  seven other people were trapped inside the building after massive fire broke out in chips- snacks factory. This mishap took place in  Chaknooran area in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur in the wee hours on December 31. All injured were shifted at Sri Krishna Medical College hospital for treatment. Police, local administration, rescue team and fire tenders were reached on spot after this mishap. Reason behind fire was no confirmed.

This mishap took place when factory workers were working in the factory and at that time fire broke out in transformer. According to officials, cylinder blast was the main reason behind fire. Around 03 to 35 workers were sleeping inside the factory. Two pickup vans and two bikes were also gutted in the fire. Locals were also gathered in the area after this incident. Entire factory was destroyed. Around 40 crore worth property gutted. Fire brought under control after 10 hours.
