It was a major tragedy which brutally injured people on Friday 7th June’19 during the wee hours of morning at 5.00 am on Solapur-Pune Highway. A bus of Andhra Pradesh State Transport Service, which was heading to Pune from Hyderabad promptly stabbed after a truck that hit the battery on the highway & set ablaze with fire.
This fatal accident completely bruised 11 passengers in the bus who were travelling to Pune from Hyderabad. The unidentified bus driver was extremely injured and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. All though the fire was quite intense, the passengers were alive. The injured were getting treated in a government hospital in Solapur with the aid of some local youths. However no casualty and loss of life was reported in this accident. Police and National Highway help center personnel arrived at the spot within no time and helped the victims in getting them hospitalized at the right time to facilitate with the right medical assistance.
According to the sources, the exact cause of the fire that lit the bus is yet to be ascertained. The concerned authorities are probing further into the matter to know the exact reason of the fire that set ablaze the bus. All the injured passengers were identified and were hailing from Hyderabad, Telangana.
