Massive fire broke out at a jute factory in Assam on October 25.

A frantic situation was formed during the morning hours of October 25, when fire ignited from a Jute industry in Gauripur, Assam.

It was a horrendous moment for the local people staying near the Jute industry in Gauripur when the massive fire broke out. As soon as they saw huge smoke coming out from the warehouse they immediately contacted the fire department giving the information regarding the horrific situation. The area was soon engulfed with billowing smoke causing a tensed situation.

The fire tenders rushed to the spot as soon as they received the information regarding the incident. They faced difficulties while fighting the flame due to the billowing smoke coming out from the building. But, they soon took the situation under control and after lot of efforts the fire was doused off.

According to the reports, the fire proliferated in many other dumping of jute yarns for which the flame spread rapidly. Jutes worth lakh of rupees were gutted in the flames. There were no casualties or burn injuries reported from this drastic situation.
