Several incidents of fire took place in the state of Maharashtra in the past few days. Many fire incidents are reporting only in Mumbai city due to various reasons nowadays. So many shops, houses, government or non-government offices and companies have destroyed in this fire. One major fire has reported at a paper mill in Kalyan.
A massive fire broke out in Ambivli area near Kalyan city on March 6 in the afternoon. The incident took place at 1 pm at Balkrishna Paper Mill. Locals immediately called to the local police station and fire brigade team. Three fire tenders were reached to the spot as soon as possible to control the fire in the vicinity. Several water tankers also reached the area. Luckily, no casualty was reported in this mishap. All firefighters tried to rescue laborers from the premises. The exact cause of the fire is unknown. As before the fire could spread, laborers had managed to escape from the area. Fire was doused by the internal fire safety mechanism of the company. Fire brought under control after 8 hours in the night.
