Plane crash at Indapur, trainee pilot injured

A four seater Cessna 172 aircraft crashed from 3,500 fit on an open ground at Rui village near Indapur taluka in Pune on Tuesday, February 5 in the afternoon at 12.15 pm. This mishap took place due to technical glitch. Trainee pilot was flying solo as part of a training exercise for emergency landing. When pilot was realized that the aircraft’s engine had developed a technical snag, he tried to land it on a road. The aircraft hit on tree. The aircraft belonged of Carver Aviation. Due to this incident, pilot fractured his right hand. Injured shifted to a private hospital in Rui and then shifted to the Baramati Government hospital. No injury or damages were reported on the ground due to this mishap. Police and locals rushed on the spot immediately after this mishap.
