Seven vehicles collided on NH 52 in Bundi during wee hours on March 6; seven injured

A major accident happened on NH 52 in Bundi district of Rajasthan during wee hours on March 6. At last seven vehicles were collided with each other injuring around seven people. All injured victims were rushed to the nearest hospital for medical assistance. Hindoli Police, Highway Mobile and other teams were immediately rushed to the spot to carry out rescue operation.

The accident took place around 2.45 am on Friday when 7 vehicles collided back to back on NH 52 near Pech Ki Baori in Bundi district. These vehicles include three sleeper buses, a truck, a pick-up, a trailer, and a car. It is further given to understand that Highway Company had made a stretch one-way which resulted into this mishap. All vehicles were rammed on each other’s within the distance of 1 km. After being informed; the Hindoli Police, Highway Mobile and other rescue teams were immediately rushed to the spot. The seven injured people were admitted to Hindoli Health Center and five of them were discharged after basic first-aid. The remaining two people were shifted to Bundi district hospital due to critical injuries.

Meanwhile, the traffic movement on the Ajmer – Kota highway was affected during rescue and relief operation. A Crane was deployed to remove the vehicles involved in this accident to clear the accident scene.
