A bus fell into the Barakar River in the city of Giridih, Jharkhand on August 6


A high-speed luxurious bus going from Ranchi to Giridih went out of control and fell into the Barakar river in the city of Giridih, Jharkhand. The accident took place at around 9 pm of August 6 when the bus suddenly skit and fell from the bridge after breaking the railing in Dumri area.


According to the reports, the Baba Samrat bus (JH 07H 2906) left from the city of Ranchi at around 5 pm with 30 passengers on board. A sudden chaos was formed in the area after the accident took place. This situation raised a wave of panic among the locals in the area. The rescue team were soon deployed to the spot after receiving the information regarding the horrendous situation.


Police personnel and the rescue team authorities soon reached the site of the accident after receiving the information. The authorities with help from the local people of the area managed to evacuated all the people from the vehicle.


As per the reports, 4 people died in this accident while 24 people were injured and has been rushed to the Navjeevan Nursing Home and Govardhan Lal Nursing Home for medical attention. Moreover, after inspection it was found out that the bus was being operated on the insurance paper of a scooter.
