A fire broke out in a plyboard shop in Gandhi Nagar market in Delhi



A tensed situation was formed during the wee hours of August 9 when a massive fire broke out at a plywood shop in New Delhi's Gandhi Nagar area. The tragic incident took place at around 3:30 am inducing a chaotic situation in the area.


Around 21 fire tenders were rushed to the spot for the operation after they received the call regarding this fire at 4.07 am. Delhi police also reached for further investigation. Whole shop gutted in the fire. Similarly, all plywood also destroyed. Fortunately, no one was injured in this mishap. Later, after few hours fire brought under control. The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. At 5.29 am, it was declared as Make-6 category fire.
