Delhi-bound Vistara flight faced a technical glitch on July 5



A Delhi-bound Vistara flight UK122 (BKK-DEL) faced a technical glitch on July 5 after landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) airport in Delhi.


As it was a minor technical glitch, all passengers were safe. As the flight was uneventful, the flight landed on runway 10 at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) airport. Whereas for the safety of the passengers, the aircraft was towed to the parking bay.


As soon as the issue was noticed, Air traffic control (ATC) was informed immediately and a tow truck was asked to bring near the aircraft.


Soon after vacating the flight, the second engine was shut down for the process of single-engine taxiing using engine number 1. Whereas engine number 1 failed at the end of the taxiway and a tow truck was used to take the aircraft to the parking bay, revealed the airport authorities.


Note: The matter was reported to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
