Fire breaks out in a godown in Pune's Wagholi area on May 31

A massive fire broke out in a godown situated at Wagholi in Pune, on May 31, causing panic among the locals. The godown stored dairy products, and the fire broke out at approximately 4:10 am. Two fire tenders and a team of seven to eight firefighters immediately rushed to the spot to control the flames.
The fire caused a lot of damage, and plumes of smoke covered the sky, making it difficult for the firefighters to go inside the godown. The firefighters, however, put their lives on the line and went inside the godown to douse the flames.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but sources say that a short circuit could be the reason. The incident didn't cause any casualties, and the firefighters were successful in putting out the fire after an hour-long struggle. However, the fire caused substantial damage to the godown and the dairy products stored inside. Authorities are investigating the case to determine the actual cause of the fire.
