Fire broke out in a Airtel Warehouse at Bargawan area of Ranchi on Oct 13



A massive fire broke out in an Airtel warehouse located in Bargawan under Namkum police station area of Ranchi, Jharkhand on October 13. A sudden chaos was formed in the area at around 3 am after blaze erupted in the warehouse due to short circuit. The fire was so terrible that it raised a wave of panic among the people as a plume of black smoke covered the area. According to the reports, three security guards were stationed in the warehouse when the fire broke out, who later informed the fire department regarding the horrendous situation.


A total of 22 fire tenders soon rushed to the spot after receiving the information. The fire was so horrific that even after 12 hours the fire was not completely extinguished. The fire tenders faced a lot of difficulties while fighting the flame due to the billowing smoke but somehow managed to take the situation under control.


As per the reports, no personnel were present inside the warehouse when the fire broke out. The company's valuable machines, copper wire and a large amount of equipment were kept in the warehouse everything were destroyed in the fire. Furthermore, the flames were so high that the roof of the warehouse and many parts of it were completely destroyed.
