Fire broke out in a factory in Bodai Industrial Area of Bhatpara, West Bengal on September 1

A massive fire broke out in a factory located at the Bodai Industrial area of Bhatpara, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal on September 1. A sudden chaos was formed among the locals of the area at around 8:30 pm when they noticed that the fire engulfed in the factory. This situation raised a wave of panic among the locals present in the surrounding area as a plume of black smoke covered the area.

The fire department and the police department were soon informed regarding the menacing situation. Fire tenders along with local police personnel rushed to the spot after receiving the information and immediately started evacuating nearby people from the area. They also had to stop the traffic in the area due to the incident.

The fire tenders faced a lot of difficulties while fighting the flame as the flames were spreading quickly and also due to the billowing smoke but somehow managed to take the situation under control.

As per the reports, no casualties or injuries were reported in this incident as all the staff members managed to escape out of the factory on time. Many items inside the factory were damaged due to the blaze. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
