Fire broke out on the 11th floor of Kirti Shikhar tower in New Delhi on July 12



A massive fire broke out on the 11th floor of Kirti Shikhar tower, a multi-storey building in Janakpuri area of New Delhi as on July 12. A sudden chaos was formed among the locals of the area at around 12:30 pm when they noticed that fire has engulfed on one of the top floors of the residential building. As per the reports, few people were trapped in this menacing situation which raised a wave of panic among the locals. The fire department was soon informed regarding the terrible situation as plume of black smoke covered the area.


A total of 11 fire tenders rushed to the spot after receiving the information and started the evacuation process. They had to stop the traffic in the area due to the incident. The fire tenders faced difficulties while fighting the flame due to the billowing smoke but somehow managed to take the situation under control.


According to the reports, 4 people were rescued by the fire tenders and no casualties were reported in this incident. Moreover, the fire department brought the blaze under control at around 1.50 pm.
