One dead after a fire broke out in the Hyderabadi Biryani hotel of Pune on Oct 22

A fire broke out at the Hyderabadi Biryani hotel in Sadashiv Peth at Pune, Maharashtra on October 22. The blaze erupted around 10.30 in the morning. Unfortunately, a six-year-old girl died in this incident.
According to the fire tenders, they received a call around 10.52 am regarding the fire at a hotel near Bhikardas Maruti temple near Khajina Vihir Chowk of Pune. They immediately rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The deceased was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead due to burning injuries.
According to the sources, when the locals noticed the fire they immediately informed the fire tenders that three people are stuck inside the structure. When the fire tenders reached the spot within no time they carried out the rescue operation and rescued all three of them, where two were injured and one was declared dead. The fire tenders later on, removed three gas cylinders from the hotel, sources added.
The exact cause and also the extent of damage are not yet identified. Whereas the police officials have launched an investigation into this matter.
Note: It is claimed that the small hotel building did not have any fire-safety measures.
